
The COMSATS (Commission on Science and Technology for Sustainable Development in the South) Secretariat is offering an important opportunity for scientists and researchers in member countries. The ANSO (Alliance of National and International Science Organizations for the Belt and Road Regions), of which COMSATS is a member, has issued a Call for Proposals for CAS-ANSO Co-Funded Research Project 2025.
This project aims to support scientific, technological, and innovative research collaborations, particularly in priority areas such as clean energy and health & public health. The projects are expected to contribute to sustainable development goals by utilizing modern tools like artificial intelligence, digital infrastructure, and blockchain technologies.
Project Proposal Evaluation:
- Proposals that involve multiple partnerships and aim to overcome local development challenges will be given priority.
- Up to 200,000 USD funding will be provided for selected projects.
Application Process: Proposals must be submitted to the COMSATS Secretariat by May 11, 2025. COMSATS will only submit one proposal. All proposals will be evaluated by the Chairperson of the COMSATS Coordinating Council, who will select the most suitable project for submission to ANSO.
